I chose Marlaina because of her photography style. I loved working with her and she made me feel comfortable!
I was very at ease with Marlaina. She is very sweet and genuine, and good at what she does. It was never awkward and while we were shooting I felt confident and pretty. She made me feel like my suggestions were good input and was always happy to try out an idea.
The lighting of her pics on her website and the way the pics turned out were exactly what I wanted for my engagement/wedding photos
You can’t ask for a lower stress wedding photography experience. Marlaina was a total professional and took care of everything! We were particularly impressed with her hair/makeup recommendations in Detroit as well as her ability to work with our dogs on our special day. We cannot recommend Marlaina more highly. Thanks again!
Marlaina is hands down the best photographer I have ever had the pleasure of using! Her attention to detail and her unbelievable talent make for such a pleasant experience. Marlaina shot my engagement photos and they turned out more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. It was unreal and I’ll never be able to repay her for her amazing customer service and how much she cares about her clients. Any time I get the chance, I always recommend her!
I have so many fantastic things to say about Marlaina. I hired her to photograph my surprise proposal… Marlaina helped me pick a location and met me there a week earlier to plan out the proposal. The day of, she showed up an hour early to make sure everything was good to go and coordinate some family members. Everything went off without a hitch and I owe so much of that to her. After we parted ways, she made edits and sent them over to us that night! I was blown away with how they turned out. She really works hard and it shows in her photography. I would not hesitate for a second to hire her for your wedding or other photography needs.
I want to give all the stars to Marlaina. She is the most genuine human being and it shows in the work that she does. Her energy throughout the entire day made everyone feel at ease and stress free. She’s an amazing photographer and an amazing person and everyone should use her for any picture needs that they have!
My wife may have booked the wedding photographer…, but I couldn’t have been happier with Marlaina Photo. She thought about making the bride happy, of course, but also made sure I… was getting what I wanted to take from our big day. Because sometimes people forget that it is OUR day not just the bride’s day. Marlaina asked me what I wanted and made sure that I was happy with what was going on as well. …You could tell she wanted to be there. That she cared about our day. We were both so happy with how the pictures turned out!…
I will start with, Marlaina is amazing! … Marlaina was absolutely the right choice. She was timely, professional, funny and made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. She truly went above and beyond to ensure our day and our photos were perfection. Every little detail was accounted for. Examples: My husband and I didn’t practice cutting the cake lol and Marlaina talked us through it on the spot! Then, my dress wouldn’t stay bustled. Marlaina dropped everything to help me bustle my dress three times. Little things that she didn’t have to do, but did. We saw a sneak preview of our pictures and WOW. I highly recommend Marlaina and will surely use her in the future to capture all of our moments!
